I was telling Andrew the Bible story of the disciples who weren't catching any fish until Jesus told them where to cast their nets. Then they caught so many fish that their boats could barely hold them. When they got to shore, Jesus told them to leave everything and follow him. So they did. Straightaway.
Andrew said, "So they just wasted all those fish?"
I said, "I guess so, but the important thing is that they followed Jesus."
Andrew looked at me and said, "Well if I were them, I would have made a sign before I left that said, 'Free Fish'!"
(p.s. I think he gets his sense of priorities from me: first make sure you don't waste anything, then follow Jesus.)
