Man Up

Andrew is a very sensitive little boy which I love, but along with that comes this ability to turn minute injuries into major events.  Today during one of his injury drama fests I told him he'd be okay and said, "Man up!"

He paused for a second, then threw himself on the floor and said, "No, it's man down!"

  2. That is pretty darn funny. "man up" is a cool thing for a mom to say to a kid. i like it. And as that one dude from that one show (8 seconds?) says - "I have 2 words for you, cowboy up" that would be cool to say too especially since andrew can strut the cowboy duds with the best of them. hey, i get to see you in a little over a week! how bout that!!

  3. That is very clever, Andrew. We've got a man down, I repeat, a man down! That must've been some injury. I'm all out of band-aids here. Wish I could help.

  4. Whenever I say to Harriet, "It's up to you," she says "no, it's DOWN to me." She is very contrary. So now we say that instead.
Incidentally, most blogs annoy me but not yours. I am so glad that someone else does not have the perfect life!
